Provenance - Speyburn 12

A special selection from a single cask. Distilled at Speyburn Distillery in February 2005 and matured in a sherry butt. Bottled as a 12 y.o. in February 2017. One of 806 bottles.

As with all Douglas Laing bottlings, it is bottled with natural colour and without chill-filtering.

Nose: Demerara sugar and molasses show early with later macerated dark fruit.

Palate: As sweet and fruity (from the sherry) as anticipated with later soft barley.

Finish: So gently- and attractively - spiced with fruit, honey and milky cereal.

Bottled at 46% alc./vol
